A good marriage partner should not fear to correct you when you err and should not treat you like a fragile piece of glass. This is what we call tension and drives partners further apart. A good marriage is one that can accommodate anything from each of the lovers. It should encourage lovers to pour out their frustrations after a long long day. You might be experiencing some marriage crisis and can go to any length to fix them. You might have noticed some differences between you and the person you married. No one is perfect, not you and certainly not your marriage partner. To fix any marriage crisis, it is good to learn acceptance. Accept them as they are and try to understand to live with them and i assure you a long married life. For instance you might have married your wife out of intense love and you missed to point her lazy nature. Relax and learn to look at other alternatives. May be she is not so good in cooking or many other chores but she has a heart of gold. Accept her nature and focus on her good side. You can always get a house help to fix your marriage crisis.

It is good to learn to celebrate what you own and avoid comparisons. What you have is a lack in another person's marriage. A story is told of a person who was so tired of his marriage burdens and went complaining to God. God directed him to a store to go and deposit his marriage crisis and pick the smallest portion among them all. He was so excited and ran to lay down what seemed to be the most frustrating marriage burdens. He dropped the cargo, ran outside but rushed back to select the smallest and ran back home. He picked it but God's amazed voice spoke and announced "you have just picked what you brought in!". He could not comprehend the fact that his was comparatively minimal. He went home feeling challenged and was happy to have what he had for a marriage. Fix your marriage crisis by enjoying what you have.

You have noticed that your marriage is in crises due to piling of resentments. Solve your problems by talking about it. Accumulated anger and sadness results into frustrating marriages. To solve a marriage crisis, learn to use the three very important words. Say "i am sorry". They are the words that have the power to kill any anger, soften all the hard feelings and invoke forgiveness. In marriage, submission and dictation should play their different distinguished roles. When you feel you are wrong, you should be quick to submit your apologies to your spouse. If you are the wronged spouse you should forgive and forget. Do not revive it week after week. It will encourage the marriage crisis more.

How To Build A Stronger, Happier, More Fulfilling Marriage

How To Build A Stronger, Happier, More Fulfilling Marriage. I’m sure that we could agree that a strong marriage is one that is based on true love. But, how do you “love” someone? How is it that you really do that?

For many people, if you take away the sexual aspect of love, what’s left in their mind is so ambiguous, abstract, and ethereal that there’s really nothing left for them to take action on.

Consequently, there’s not nearly enough “loving” going on in way too many marriages.

So, let me give you a definition of love that’s “actionable” – a definition that’ll make perfect sense to you and enable you to love your spouse in a meaningful way that they’ll readily recognize and appreciate.

Loving your spouse is doing three things:

1. It’s consistently directing goodwill towards them
2. It’s truly wanting the best of everything for them
3. It’s helping them obtain the good they desire in any way you can

As a human being, you have God-given intellect, God-given will-power, and God-given choice-power. That means that if you really want to, you can consciously choose to do all three of the above items and thereby express love to your spouse in a way that will cause your marriage to blossom and bloom into a union of beauty and harmony that you may not even be able to imagine right now.

And, all three of these are things that are easy to understand and they are things that you really can do.

In fact, I’d like you to now pause for a moment and do something for yourself…using your abilities to decide, think, and imagine…

1. Decide to consistently direct goodwill towards your spouse. Permanently install the notion in your mind that goodwill is something you have to give to your spouse – and that you want to give it to your spouse in every interaction. Firmly program your mind with the ideal that you are a constant transmitter of goodwill towards your spouse.
2. Think about how you might direct goodwill towards your spouse. Use your imagination to visualize yourself doing that in the different kinds of interactions that you routinely have with your spouse. Use your imagination to picture you projecting goodwill towards your spouse when it’s just the two of you, when it’s the two of you with children, and when it’s the two of you in a public sitting with other people around.

Then, repeat this two-step process for the ideal of wanting the best of everything for your spouse and for helping your spouse obtain the good they desire in any way you can.

I promise you, if you’ll actively go through this two-step process for all three aspects of love, I can assure you there is going to be a different aura about you that your spouse cannot help but notice.

There’ll be a shine on your face, a sparkling beam in your eyes, and your words and actions will emanate loving power towards your spouse. They’ll be irresistibly drawn to you. Think of it, who could possibly resist a spouse that’s for them – that’s on their side?

In the best-selling book of all time, the Bible, we read that “God is love” and if we read a little deeper, we find that God’s kind of love is the kind that directs goodwill towards us, wants the very best for us, and helps us get the good we desire.

In like fashion, a strong, successful, happy, fulfilling marriage is one where both the husband and the wife direct goodwill towards each other, they genuinely want the very best for each other, and they actively do their best to help each other obtain the good that they desire.

Of course, someone has to be the first one to move…print out this article, find the right time and place, and share it with your spouse. Let them know that you want to “love” them in this way and that you’d like for them to “love” you back in this way.

This is how you “love” your way into a stronger, happier, more fulfilling marriage.

Does Marriage Work?

Does Marriage Work?. Due to man's never-ending quest to understand the Life Matters that are only better understood from a spiritual standpoint, "Does Marriage Work?" has become one of the most pondered question in life. Despite the increasing number of divorces in our societies, I say yes, Marriage Works! What do you say?

Regardless of the number of years that you have been married, you will agree with me that marriage is the most delicate undertaking in this world, and for it to thrive and survive, it requires consistent nourishment, unabashed attention, constant compromise and the daily renewal of our marital vows. But with the world experiencing the HIGHEST level of stress, how do we make our marriage thrive and survive when statistics indicates that one in every two marriage NOW ends up in divorce?

No doubt a tough question when we consider the never-ending challenges that we face in our marriage; but it is a 'yes' nevertheless, Marriage Works ' when viewed from a spiritual standpoint only. Look at it this way: Nothing created by God has ever been recalled because everything God created, including you and me, are 'good', and meant to work. And he will not recall marriage even though some people have tried expanding it to include what Apostle Paul called "unnatural relations". In fact, if God were to recall any of His creation, it would be you and me for it does not seem that plants and animals 'grieve' His heart like we do.

I strongly believe that the three most challenging Life Matters are Marriage, Parenting and Spirituality; and they are all meant to work. And for you to be qualified to say otherwise, you must be ready to tell God that you have consistently followed ALL His 'not burdensome' advice about how to make your Marriage, Parenting and Spirituality work. Or don't you think it is only fair to have tried everything to the specification of the Creator before saying that His creation doesn't work?

This is why it is absolutely necessary to start seeing things from a spiritual perspective rather than from how the world sees it. In the words of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, "Let us not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day; for our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So let us fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

The question should not be whether marriage works, but rather what are we yet to do to make it work! As a Life Coach who has worked with many people in many countries to energize their marriage, I hereby affirm to you that Marriage Works. In fact, my marriage to Stephanie remains a testimony for those who saw us turn our it around for the better ' and we have never looked back ever since.

Does marriage work? Yes, it does.

Why Beautiful Women Do Not Marry Less Attractive Men

Why Beautiful Women Do Not Marry Less Attractive Men.
Golden Anniversaries: The Seven Secrets of Successful Marriage

We think the whole "visual thing” when it comes to love and relationships is dramatically overrated. Our 25+ years of research on successful love and relationships would call into question the study that came out recently entitled “Why Beautiful Women Marry Less Attractive Men.” To put it bluntly, the authors of this study are just plain wrong! Their conclusions are flawed. Here’s why.

Women do NOT marry less attractive men! They marry men they have fallen in love with. We tend to marry people we judge to be most like us -- social-economically like us, people we think are in our "beauty class," people who agree with us on most issues, people who share our core values, etc. Our perception of the way another person looks does affect whether or not we are attracted to them in the beginning, but then a whole new set of dynamics take over. Once attracted, for whatever reason, love takes over. That's why you see couples that look like Mutt and Jeff – couples who are fat and skinny, tall and short, and so forth. Love, pardon the pun, does from time to time make for strange bedfellows!

Interestingly enough, people who have had a long and successful loving relationship have reported to us that they think the one they love is beautiful no matter what other’s assessment of their relative looks might be. Successfully married couples, for example, report to us that they simply love their partner and in the list of things that matter in their relationship, the physical part, beyond being healthy, matters very little. Love is love no matter its shape or size or its relative beauty. Your love is your love no matter what others may think about it or how they might assess it. Being in love with another person do not require approval or acceptance by others. Love is personal and the reasons for it are often known only to the people in love. But in the end, that is probably all that matters.

Beauty is relative and resides in the eyes of the beholder. When you fall in love, you will do so based on your own perceptions of the other person and the value you place on what you see. Others are not capable of telling you what matters to you in that relationship. In the end, the goodness of your partner, their honesty and trustworthiness, and the core values you share, will win out. Love trumps everything. All things are beautiful in true and lasting love.

Love well!
